Bisupport for the olefin polymerization was prepared by the gelation of the colloidal phase of SiO_2 using MgCl_2 solution as an initiator.the prepared Ziegler-Natta/Metallocene hybird catalysts on the bisupport exhibited the characteristics of both Ziegler-Natta and metallocene catalysts.The polyethylene produced by the hybrid catalysts showed two melting temperatures and a bimodal MWD,suggesting that the polymer was composed of two different lamella structures that were polymerized by each catalyst.
