Adsorption against pollution: current state and perspectives

摘要

An overview of modern trends in the application of adsorption science for protecting the human environment is presented. The essential subject comprises fundamental information on conventional pollutants, environmental challenges to adsorption, basic types of environmentally relevant adsorbents and information that refers to adsorbent properties with regard to practical applications. Current understanding and perspectives pertaining to environmental applications of adsorption phenomena are discussed as well.
