Design and trial of the new W.I.G.Effect craft-XTW4

摘要

After giving a brief introductionto the history of development of WIG effect craft in CSSRC, the presented paper describes the newly designed and constructed twenty-passenger WIG ship XTW-4 which represents the latest progress on small manned craft in China. The first phase of trial flight of XTW-4 had been completed in Changjiang River during September, 1999 approx November, 1999. The results show that the XTW-4 is of excellent general performance and is advanced in many aspects. The further sea trials are scheduled in this year.
