Application of Evolutionary Strategy to the Optimization of the Interrupter in 3kv A.C. Vacuum Contactor

With the finite element method (FEM), this paper calcualtes the electric field in the interrupter of 3kv A.C. vacuum contactor, and analyses the cause of the flashover phenomenon. Combi ed with FEM, evolution strategy (ES) is applied to optimize the structure of the vacuum interrupter and the optimal results is satisfied.
