In this paper, we will give a description of our latest technical development in designing, manufacturing and testing EHV Current and voltage transformers in the 525 and 765 kV range. Recent improvements such as the "reinforced security design" will be described, as well as the type test performed to prove the extreme reliability of the new current transformers range. The presentation will end showing our new generation of opto-electronic sensors using pockels, Faraday effects and their interface with meters and relays. These developments were motivated by the huge list of potential advantages expected with this technology.
