System synthesis is a very creative activity.It is thought that only the designer with special skill can accomplish it.In this ppaer,Istress the importance of the second law in process system synthesis.Especially,I show that the second law has still veiled parts of knowledge and htat more inofrmantin cna be derived based on the sdecond law when it is combined with some new concepts.
