Thermal conductivity of liquid hydrocarbons

The thermal conductivities of several pure liquid hydrocarbons were measured.A computer-controlled instrument was reportd to measure the thermal conductivity of liquid with a thermistor porble as a sensitive element.A correlation model was proposed to represent the thermal conductivities of liquids on the basis of the hole theory concept and the lattice model.The reduced values of the Lennard-Jones potential prameters and an empirical parameter.which were needed in calculations of thermal conductivities,could be correlated by configuration factor.
