Relative Sea-Level Changes in Aegean Coastal Areas during Holocene: A Geoarchaeological View

INTRODUCTION This study highlights the most important 'geoarchaeological challenges' in Aegean coastal areas associated with the relative sea-level changes during Holocene. MATERIALS AND METHODS This approach correlates original data acquired by field- and lab-work with bibliographical information. Also, in addition, indications of ancient sea levels in coastal sediments and geomorphologic features formed in the Middle and Upper Holocene are taken into account.
