In the study of shafting structure' s rationality analysis, this paper adopts bottom- up modeling method to do assembly modeling. The knowledge of relationship model and extended adjacency multi-list in graph theory are introduced into the process of assembly modeling. Extended adjacency multi-list is used to store the relationship models. Introducing the concept of 'virtual link', which was brought forward by Mr, Lee and had applied to hierarchy model, into the relationship model makes the extended adjacency multi-list data structure be much useful in assembly analysis. And the adjacency multi-list also can provide information for the subsequent assembly analysis.
