THE MEASUREMENT METHOD OF RAMIN FIBER RIGIDITY

The ramie fiber rigidity is one important factor for causing skin scratchiness as a result of wearing apparel. The one of measurement methods is based on the principle of cantilever beam, measuring the fiber degree of flexibility with torsion balance. In fact, when the ramie fibers prick on the skin, the reacting force from skin may be divided two parts, critical pressure and shear stress. On these grounds, a hew mathematical model of calculating ramie fiber rigidity has been obtained.
