In this paper, we propose a new full-rate, full-diversity STBC for the quasi-static Rayleigh flat fading 2times2 MIMO channel. This code has an ML-decoding complexity of the order of M3. For square QAM, the ML-decoding complexity is of the order of M2radic2. and also matches the Golden code in coding gain for 4- and -16 QAM constellations, and have the non-vanishing determinant (NVD) property for QAM constellations and DMG optimal. We state the simplified ML-decoding conditions and show that for square QAM constellations.
