On methods of landscape elements referencing over joint stable features

A methodology is considered for the construction of a validation site with reference natural media to study scattering and radiation characteristics of underlying surfaces. The meteorological mast (313-m height) of SPA "Typhoon" was used to locate the spectral scanning instrumentation. The capabilities were discussed of the high meteorological mast and of the spectroradiometric equipment developed to solve the problems of remote sensing. Presented are the specifications of the equipment and investigation results of some natural media obtained with a high spatial resolution under severely controlled meteorological and illumination conditions.
