In worldwide drilling operations today, there are more challenges than before. We have to face HTHP environ ments,high contamination of gypsum and salt, horizontal and extended reach drilling, slim -hole, increasing de mands for the faster drilling and environmental and safety issue. Conventional drilling fluids have many limitations and problems in drilling operation. BH -WEI drilling fluid is a alternative solution for these challenging drillings, The applications shows that BH -WEI can provide super inhibition ability, thermal stability and resistance contamination of gypsum and salt, max density: 2. 50g/cm3,max temperature:over 220℃. It can meet the requirements of HTHP wells and complex gypsum formations. It would be the expected drilling fluid for HTHP wells and gypsum formation.
