摘要

Nanoscopic structure of carbon nanofibers was analyzed on the basis of their 3-dimensional structural concept. The primary structural unit was found to be a rod-like shape of several nano-meter sized diameter and length in the carbon nanofiber. The assembly of nano rod structural units forms the novel 3-dimensional models of carbon nanofibers. The present authors also tried to control the shape of the primary structural unit for obtaining very high crystalline carbon nanofiber.
