Occupant thermal comfort is a key performance metric for green buildings. Although numerous studies have used thermal comfort as a criterion to control mechanical systems and optimize their energy consumptions, few studies examined individual thermal comfort preferences and their implications. This study aims to investigate the individual thermal comfort preferences in an office space. An online dashboard is developed to collect subjective thermal comfort data from office workers. The data then is compared and correlated with the measured key environmental data, such as air temperature and relative humidity. The data analysis results suggested that different occupants have various preferences about thermal comfort yet each individual has fair consistent thermal preference over time. In future study, the dashboard could be linked to the real-time control system to provide individual thermal control for office workers.
