Ordered lead dioxide nanowires were synthesized by electrodeposition through an alumina porous membrane. The reduction charge recorded on the first cyclic voltammogram in 1M H_2SO_4 is about three times larger for PbO_2 nanowires compared to PbO_2 thin film.
