As the great development of oil prospecting and exploitation, the demand for the certainty and resolution of seismic impedance result becomes much higher, the conventional seismic impedance inversion has become a method of little capability for it. By using the crosswell seismic data and surface observed seismic data, according to the known geology law, drilling data and well-logging data, and image for the underground room structure and physical character, at last realize the joint inversion for crosswell and surface seismic to make up the limitation of conventional seismic inversion' s low resolution. And accordingly, it in detail introduces the realization of the borehole and surface seismic inversion method from crosswell seismic data, extracting pseudo well data, integrative model and borehole and the surface seismic inversion. The practical data process shows that the effect of joint impedance inversion for borehole and surface seismic data is obviously better than conventional seismic impedance inversion.
