The Reservoir Prediction And Gas Indication of Two Gas-Beaing Structures in CD Basin

This paper will summarize the methods of reservoir predictionrnand gas indication of structures TJ and YK with a sandstonernreservoir on the beach-shallow lake facies—lake basin bogrnfacies at the Quaternary age in the CD basin. It provides anrneffective technical system for solving the problems of arndistinguishing reservoir from other kinds of rock andrndistribution of the formation containing gas,a thin layer andrncomplex reservoir rock, and the unreliable seismic datarnbecause of the layer of gas. The results show that thernexploration idea should be the complement of the lithologyrnelement. In addition to the idea of finding a structure for gas,rnthe saddle zone between the two structures may be a potentialrnarea located in the zone of sandstone developmentrndeposited on the river-channels under water during thernQuaternary.
