With an about 10 years delay vs. m-LLDPE, caused by the need for more sophisticated metallocene structures, the industrialization of metallocene-based polypropylene resins started in the mid 90's with homopolymer grades for textile. Soon after, the single-site characteristic property combination led to the introduction of metallocene-based homopolymers for transparent Thinwall Injection Moulding. Backed by several years of market experience and propelled by new developed metallocene structures, a full portfolio of metallocene-based homo- and copolymers is ready to enter the market and to set new technical standards wherever a precise control of resin design and composition is necessary.
