Development of Gis Industry in China

摘要

Software is the core for information industry. In recent years, the software industry in China has ecpeienced a rapid growth. However, it should be noted that the development of software industry in China is far below the level that it deserves. Geographical Inforamtion System (GIS) industry, in comparison to other software industry, has its own speciality. It involves not only the software itself, but also the development of corresponding technique such as reote sensing GPS and computer network.
