摘要

Three different reductive gaseous agents H^, CELi and NH have been employed to investigate the highrntemperature reduction of ilmenite (FeTiOs). Thermogravimetry and mass spectrometry techniques have been utilized inrnthe investigation of the reactions behavior. Considerations have been made on the parallel reactions due to the changernof the components ratio ongoing in the reduction process. In particular the catalytic effect of the metallic iron on therndecomposition of methane in the second reaction and of ammonia in the last one is being discussed as well as thernformation of important by-products.
