摘要

Application of glass-ceramics based on CaO-Al_2Q_3-SiO_2 system as gas-sealing materials has been investigated for use in the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). During heating in the furnace the original glass materials soften and join the electrolyte and the separator. At higher temperatures, bulk crystallization occurs and as a result of crystallization the viscosity of the materials increases. This phenomenon enables the glass-ceramics to seal during SOFC operation.
