In this paper, the dynamic analysis of complicated structures like nuclear reactor building has beenrndone by considering the site specific ground response analysis. The most common use of nuclear reactors is for therngeneration of electrical power. The towers vary in size from due to increasing difficulty in acquiring newrnconstruction sites that consist of hard rock. When a structure is constructed at site composed of soft soil, itsrnbehavior is much affected by the motion of its supporting soil. This effect which is caused by the flexibility ofrnsupporting soil is very more important in case of stiff and massive structures.rnSeveral methods have been developed and are currently used to analyze structures at sites that are composed ofrnsoft soil whose behavior is influenced by soil stiffness and interaction effects. Considering the local site effects,rngeological characteristics of the ground below dynamic analysis of the structure has been done. Site specificrnground response analysis for obtaining free field response of soft soil site, is carried out using DEEP SOILrn(Youssef M.A.H, 2009). Nuclear reactor is modeled and analyzed using SAP2000 (Computers and Structures, Inc.,rn2007) by considering soil stiffness. The numerical results for the floor response spectra obtained from SAP2000rn(Computers and Structures, Inc., 2007) are presented in this paper.
