摘要

Carvedilol was successfully entrapped into GG-PVA IPNs with higher efficiency. Carvedilol release was found to depend upon the extent of crosslinking and proportion of GG in the IPN. The n values indicate the release mechanism to be almost nearing to case II transport. Microspheres developed could be used as controlled release devices.
