FHA and P-glass were integrated with PCL to produce bioactive and degradable composites for hard tissue regeneration. The material degradation and ionic release from the composites were strongly dependent on the properties of ceramic component. Based on the degradation rate and cellular behaviors, the biological composites are considered to be potentially applicable in hard tissue regeneration. Moreover, it should be highlighted that the osteoblast stimulation is highly affected by the dissolution and ionic releases associated with the ceramics.
