Biodegradable Polymer Microspheres As A Potential Bulking Agent For Urologic And Dermatologic Injection Therapies

摘要

The evaluations of PLGA and PLLA microspheres as a bulking agent for the injection therapies indicate that the microspheres were injectable through various gauges of needles and induced hybrid tissue formation upon implantation. These results suggest that PLLA microspheres could be potentially useful as an injectable substance for endoscopic injection therapies in urinary and other applications.
