We constructed single-layer and double-layer PEG scaffolds which exhibit tunable Poisson's ratio behavior, in accordance with existing analytical models found in the literature. The successful culture of hMSCs on these scaffolds demonstrates the feasibility of utilizing these scaffolds for biological applications, which require complex strain characteristics.
