Various aluminum-smelting by-products from threernproduction sources were received andrncharacterized. The waste materials were tested forrncompound identification and environmentalrnacceptance. A coarse metallic aluminum recoveryrntest using an Eddy Current separator (ECS) wasrnperformed using two different Circuit configurations.rnWhite dross performed equally well with eitherrnCircuit, while black dross processing showsrnsignificant difference on the separation results. Itrnwas found that ECS technology was effective forrnparticle sizes down to 6-10 mesh.
