Projection Display Technology Based on Reflective LCOS Light Valves

摘要

Small active matrix arrays, fabricated in CMOS, drive reflecting, pixel mirror electrodes to alter the liquid crystal electro-optical response. Images reflected from the light valves are magnified and projected by an optical system which separates the incident light flux from the reflected image to provide high performance, large area displays.
