The boundary condition of burnishing processing is studied theoretically in the paper, According to this theory the cylinder PCD tools are designed and fabricated. To improve the study on the burnishing processing, the mechanics character of burnishing processing with cylinder PCD tool was studied with burnishing force measuring system which is composed of Quartz three-component dynameters force measurement, type 9257B, made by Kistler Corporation. The comparative experiment of the three-dimensional force between the burnishing and turning was carried out, and the result was analyzed. There are different distribution regulation about the three-dimensional force between the burnishing and turning. During the burnishing process, the magnitude subsequence of the three-dimensional force is F_y> F_z> F_x , but in the turning process, the magnitude subsequence of three-dimensional force is F_2> F_y> F_x , while F_y is cutting in resisting force, F_z is main cutting force and F_x is feeding force.
