The Development of Smart Card CSP Based on Windows System

摘要

Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) is the most important module to perform encryption and decryption, and to provide key storage and security in windows system. It is safer to store the user's public/private key pairs in smart card than in windows system registry, but the standard CSP of smart card must be provided. A CSP contains implementations of cryptographic standards and algorithms. This paper describes the development of smart card CSP program and a sample of a CSP that work with the ICCSP and ICCSPAPP layer. The CSP access smart card with COS command through ICCSP layer.
