Research of Reducing the Vector Quantization Distortion of ITU-T G.728

摘要

This article brings forward an efficient algorithm of speech data encoding which is proved on the basis of 16kb/s LD-CELP G.728 standard algorithm. It gives a precise description of gain of G.728 and replaces the 8 discrete values of original algorithm. The experiment shows that the SNR increases 3.7dB and the size of shape codebook decreases to 64. The latter is equivalent to descend the rate of code transmission. Accordingly a new method of speech data compress has been found.
