REMINDING AND CONTEXT IN DESIGN: A Model Inspired by Language

摘要

This paper draws an analogy between the use of context in understanding natural language and the use of context in design. As a result, design context is identified as historically relevant portions of design episodes rather than attempted complete descriptions. This distinction leads to a model for reminding designers of implicit information.
