Projections for spent nuclear fuel accumulations in DRY storage at reactor sites for a range of operating scenarios

Projections of how much spent nuclear fuel (SNF) will have accumulated at domestic nuclear plants when the federal govenment begins transfer to interim storage, prior to the permanent disposal reository, are dependent on several operational variables. This paper assesses these variables and provides a basis for quantifying spent fuel accumulatons in each of the 34 states with nuclear plants using different waste management system scenarios.
