Demolition of a Frame Building by Blasting with Continuous Folding and One-way Collapsing

By selection of drilling pattern, charging parameters and the blasting plan, the demolition of a eight-storey framed building by blasting with continuous folding and one-way collapsing is performed. As the building demolished being quite near to a transformer and inhabited buildings, it is important to control the ground vibration and flying rock. For this reason, the skill of delay ignition inside or outside the holes used in the blasting enables the building to be pulled down storey-by-storey and frame-by-frame. and the ground vibration and flying rock are effectively reduced. The technique could be used for reference in similar demolition projects.
