摘要

Non-die Explosive forming of industrial spherical pressure vessels is a highly energy efficient method. This paper presents the basic theory of this new technology and the calculation formula of the explosive dosage. The strain and the velocity distribution pattern of the mass particles of the shell structure under the functioning of the explosive shock wave are obtained through a numerical analysis of the forming process, as well as the spherical accuracy. The analytical values turn out highly in accordance with the experimental results, which supplies a theoretical base for the industrial application of this technology.
