Novel transmissive color filter using cholesteric liquid crystal with wide viewing angle

摘要

We propose a new design of the cholesteric liquid crystal color filter (CLC). By combining this CLC with light sources with sharp emitting peak for R, G and B, such as LED, we could reduce the color shift according to viewing direction and could improve light efficiency.
