New data on mineral paragenesis, mineral chemistry, fluid inclusions, oxygen isotopes of quartz, and sulfur isotope compositions of sulfide minerals from the black shale-hosted Mayskoye disseminated gold deposit are presented. Three distinct mineralization stages include: (1) disseminated sulfide minerals, (2) wolframite-cassiterite-quartz veins, and (3) quartz-stibnite veins. Several compositionally and isotopically distinct fluids were involved in the Mayskoye hydrothermal system. Both unmixed into a low salinity, H_2O+CO_2+CH_4 liquid and a CO_2+ H_2O vapor-rich phase, with economic disseminated gold ores deposited at 238°-430℃ and 0.2 to 1.2 kbar.
