A case study of the metallogenic province and ore-forming chronology in the northern margin of the North China Platform and its north side

The evolution of metallogenic provinces and ore-forming chronology is an important topic of research. The metallogenic province in the northern margin of the North China Platform and its north side (NMNCP) is located at the intersection of a Precambrian massif, the ancient Asian orogenic belts and the marginal-Pacific tectonic belts. This paper provides an evaluation of the metallogeny of the NMNCP and its geological evolution, as a means to advancing our understanding of the evolution of metallogenic provinces and to developing a new method to study ore-forming chronology.
