Promoting flow silos using aeration and fluidization

The use of low pressure air to partially fluidise powders in order to promote flow from silos has been established for many years and is usually the ost cost effective solution to discharge problems. This paper compares the various techniques and highights some of the pitfalls which must be avioded.
