摘要

Lead nitrate was found to be more teratogenic than have lethal effect, whereas lead acetate showed more lethal effects than teratogenic effects. Size and weight of the treated embryos were reduced (P<0.01). The spectrum of malformation included exencephaly, beak defects, ectopia viscerum, defects of limbs and digits, clubbed feather, curled toes and hydrocephalus. Subcutaneous haemorrhages and growth retardation were extremely higher in group Ⅳ and Ⅴ. Treated liver showed suppression of its lobes and signs of haemorrhages on the surface. Kidney lobules became swollen and haemorrhagic and revealed necrosis in most cases of the treated groups. Haemorrhages under meaninges were very common in group Ⅱ and Ⅲ chick embryos.
