摘要

Six generations (P1, P2, F1, F2, B1 and B2) of four crosses were raised in randomized blockrndesign with three replications under natural and epiphytotic environments with normal and laternsown conditions. Total phenols, total as well as reducing sugars and protein content were calculatedrnand it was observed that total phenols had highly significant negative correlation with white rustrnseverity in healthy as well as diseased leaves in all the four environments. Reducing sugars as well asrntotal sugars had significant positive correlation with disease severity in all the environments inrnhealthy as well as diseased leaves. Highly significant positive correlations were observed betweenrnprotein percent and disease severity over all the environments.
