On p -Prime Ideals In Semirings

The concept of the p-ideals in a semiring was first introduced by Mukhopadhyay and Ghosh [4] and of subsequently various characteristic features of a p-ideal in in different classes of semirings were obtained in [4], [5] and [6]. In the present paper the concepts of p-prime and p-semiprime ideals of a semiring is provided and various results on these classes of ideals are obtained.
