If we consider modern concrete structures subjected to severe environment or severe loading, high strength/high performance concretes (HSC/HPC) arc often used. It is therefore necessary to understand the behaviour of HSC/HPC. Two such features are creep and shrinkage that have paramount importance for serviceability, durability, and long-term reliability of structures. This paper presents a new code type model for the prediction of creep and shrinkage deformations in HSC/HPC recipes (cube strength (f_K) > 80 MPa and water-to-binder ratios (w/B)≤ 0.4). Based on the fact that HSC/HPC tests not yet are as numerous as for normal strength concretes (NSC), the presented should be regarded as approximate with respect to effects that are not investigated so far.
