摘要

To improve efficiency and accuracy of tapping, the theory of TRIZ is applied to analyze tapping system from which deduce that the system should develop to the aim of dynamicity, “substance—field” model is used to analyze and ascertain technological contradictions of the system. The new solution of impulse impact tapping is presented by utilization the innovative principles of contradiction matrix to solve the contradictions, and consequently impulse impact tapping mechanism is designed. Impulse impact tapping, as a novel technology of internal thread processing that transform line movement of impulse to screw movement of thread tool, can improve efficiency and quality of internal thread machining and is simpler than other tapping mechanism. The design process provides a thinking methodology to design of complex machinery devices.
