VE/VM has now been applied in almost all areas of industry for more than 40 years.Global industry activities require more and more sophisticated but still simple techniques to meet thechallenges of changed business situations.Companies are forced like never before to develop and/or re-design products and services in much shorterperiods of time.Besides time pressure the cost pressure has been growing immensely. VE / VM potentials and results must beachieved at much higher levels. This paper presents consequent ways how to meet these new demands andhow to enhance value.Part of this presentation are case studies and video taped team exercises. Recommendations for VE/VMpractitioners will be clearly defined.
