Analysis of Synoptic Processes in The Atmosphere Using Information from Doppler Weather Radar

The report considers the possibility of analyzing the current synoptic situation using information from Doppler meteorological radars - maps of the radial component of the Doppler velocity of meteorological targets. The use of this experience in the operational and prognostic units of Roshydromet is expected to improve the quality and reliability of short-term weather forecasts.
