Abstract: An investigation has been undertaken on stainless steel's tendency toward hot cracking during laser welding over a wide range of regimes. It has been found that laser welds feature a high safety factor, excellent service properties, and the optimum structure of cast metal. The obtained results were used on introduction of high-efficiency laser welding in industrial production of straight-weld pipes made in stainless steels. !10
