摘要

Results from pull-out tests on short anchorages of deformed bars, simulating the influence zone of one stirrup, are presented. Tests were performed on specimens made with normal and high-strength concrete, with and without hooked steel-fibres. The experimental results show that bond capacity and splitting crack opening are markedly influenced by transverse reinforcement. Fibres additionally increase bond stiffness and strength. Furthermore, fibres reduce splitting crack opening thus improving durability. Fibres are more effective in a high-strength concrete matrix. Finally, it is shown that the effectiveness of steel fibres is greatest in the post-peak branch of the bond-slip curve, where a larger splitting crack opening is present.
