A great amount of scientific work carried otu at universities, is being disseminated through non-commercially published types of literautre, hte so-called Grey literauture, like dissertaitons, internal technical reprots, teaching material, deliverables of research projects etc. The systematic storage, processing and dissemination of the intellectual work produced in the Greek higher education institutions is an objective which can be achieved with the use of new information and communication technologies.
